Accidents

If a student has an accident at school, elementary first aid will be given. If the child has an injury to their head or injury is serious, every effort will be made to contact the parents/carers. It is vital that up-to-date parent contact details are provided to the school to allow us to make timely contact. When necessary, an ambulance will be called to transport the child to hospital. Ambulance transport from school is a free service.

After and Before School Care Program

Communities@Work operates an after and before school care program each school day between 7:30 - 9:00am and 3:00 - 6:00pm. Further details are available from Communities@Work on 6293 6500 or at commsatwork.org.

Assemblies

Whole school assemblies provide an opportunity for our community to celebrate special events and achievements and for classes to showcase their learning. Assemblies are usually held at 2pm on Fridays and parents, carers and family members are welcome to attend. A schedule of assembly dates along with the classes hosting is included in the calendar sent to families each term. Special commemorative services are held each year for ANZAC and Remembrance Day.
