Voluntary financial contributions from parents, carers and other citizens further benefit and support the range of educational programs and activities and the purchase of educational materials.
The School Board and P & C have suggested that the following voluntary financial contribution will directly support the educational programs and activities provided by the school. Voluntary contributions may be made in full or by instalments.
We currently ask that a voluntary contribution of $80 per single child or $140 per family be donated to the provision of educational programs.
Section 27 of the Education Act 2004 however clearly states that:
- each contribution must be voluntary
- a child is not to be refused benefits or services because the child's parents do not make a contribution
- a child is not harassed for contributions
- any record of contributions is confidential.
